MASTERPIECE Online Auction Features Works by Prominent Southeast Asian Modern Art Figures

The current auction at the MASTERPIECE auction house showcases works by some of the best contemporary Indonesian and Southeast Asian art masters.

At the auction house MASTERPIECE, works by Affandi, Lee Man Fong, and S. Sudjojono, among others, will be available for purchase.

Affandi's self-portrait leads the 69-lot auction with a low estimate of $202,030. The expressionist style of this specific image is characteristic of the artist's latter years, for which he is renowned for his depictions of Indonesia's changing reality. A painting by Lee Man Fong portraying a goldfish is anticipated to sell for between $86,600 and $108,230, while another of his works, Satay Seller, is valued between $57,720 and $86,600. The auction will conclude on July 5, 2022.
