Italian Fashion House Renato Balestra Ushers Changes With a Ready-to-Wear Collection at Milan Fashion Week & A New Logo

Renato Balestra, an Italian fashion house known for its couture and signature painterly embroidery, will unveil a complete rebrand during Milan Fashion Week later in February 2022, culminating in a presentation of its first ready-to-wear collection.

The famous couture house Renato Balestra said in a statement that it is entering a completely new era in its lengthy history and would simply be called Balestra, after the designer's surname.

The CHANGE is intended to symbolise what the fashion house refers to as a significant generational transition inside the fashion company, ushering in a new age of design, since the label is today run solely by women.

Fabiana and Federica Balestra, the founder's daughters, lead the historic fashion house, while Sofia Bertolli Balestra, the founder's granddaughter, oversees research, design, and brand identity.

Balestra means power, audacity, and pride as per Federica Balestra. This is a rediscovery of beauty and liberty.

Rebranding, changing to usher in a new era

The new-look Balestra is guided by the principles of freedom, innovation, and inclusivity in order to inspire new generations with optimism and glamour, according to the brand, and will debut its first ready-to-wear collection during Milan Fashion Week.

The collection will merge the past and the future as per Balestra explained, while also highlighting the renowned fashion house's craftsmanship and heritage and introducing a new paradigm of poetry and storytelling.

This new strategy will enable it to reposition the brand for sustainable growth, leveraging its mastery of art, design, craftsmanship, and technology, as well as its made-in-Italy philosophy, in order to "elevate standards of exceptional quality and innovation, as well as the human values the company has always upheld.

A New LOGO - a homage

Balestra has also introduced a NEW LOGO in a new font that pays homage to the hand-drawn version created by Renato Balestra in 1971. The new logo, which is in the couturier's signature blue hue, was created to maintain a strong connection to the brand's history while also serving as a bold symbol of the fashion house's new phase.

Additionally, the fashion company is establishing a new website and visual identity to represent this new chapter, which will include a "modern look. Sofia Bertolli Balestra stated that they are altering, investigating, and developing new languages for a broader community. The Italian luxury fashion house aims to inspire and engage a new generation by reimagining their distinctive optimism and elegance with a genuine modern twist.
