Gucci's New Home Accessories Collection Is Unveiled in a Surreal Topiary Garden

The new Gucci Décor collection is shown in the fantastical setting of a topiary garden, which reflects Alessandro Michele's interest in nature.

The Gucci Décor ad photographed by Max Siedentopf features a variety of unique items, such as porcelain tea sets, two-sided pillows, and moiré sofas. The artistic pieces reinterpret the ornamental environment of a topiary garden, highlighting trimmed hedges and fancifully shaped trees to create a captivating metaphor for how each component of the collection reimagines a place according to one's own taste.

Gucci's new Décor line is distinguished by a mashup of classic logos and cutting-edge House hallmarks. Teapots, cups, plates, creamers, and mugs in white Richard Ginori porcelain painted with Gucci's Herbarium pattern are all part of the designer luxury dinnerware collection. All of the candle baskets in this set are decorated with the Flora pattern, a nod to the historic House that serves as the inspiration for the whole line. To complement the ready-to-wear line, Richard Ginori has created a line of porcelain trinket trays decorated with designs reminiscent of the garments.

There is a flowery jacquard wool blanket featuring a lion as part of the Gucci Décor textile collection. This throw blanket has a flowery design that seems like it was taken straight out of the early twentieth century, making it reminiscent of exquisite Persian carpets. A tassel fringe finishes off the jacquard design made from wool. The design is further enriched with characteristic House insignia such as 'XXV Guccy' and a centre lion head embellishment. A black and white houndstooth pillow with an embroidered heart patch. Similar to the Gucci Aria collection, the love heart motif is included here as a part of the Gucci Love Parade line.

Armchairs of the set are upholstered on the front in plush moire fabric and the back in patterned velvet. Black braiding and fringes frame the seat, giving it a retro look. The hood chair is a classic design that takes its cues from mediaeval English and French manor house furnishings, with its high back, hand rests, and hollow, enveloping form.
