With The Araku Ruchulu Culinary Experience, Novotel Vijayawada Varun Brings the Authentic Tribal Cuisine of Araku Valley to Vijayawada

Food Exchange's Tribal Cuisine Pays Authentic TributeIn recent years, travellers have made Araku Valley in the southeastern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh an absolute must-see. This hill station is well-known for its picturesque countryside, mesmerising cascades, expansive coffee plantations, and pleasant climate.

The valley is also renowned for its mouth-watering coffee, vibrant tribal culture, and distinct tribal cuisine, making it an essential culinary destination in India. Novotel Vijayawada Varun has curated a culinary exhibition entitled "Araku Ruchulu" in order to introduce the gourmets of Vijayawada to the rich heritage of Araku's tribal cuisine. This exclusive dining experience will be conducted at their all-day dining facility, Food Exchange, from September 15th to September 24th, 2023, every night for supper, to pay reverence to the values of the region's cuisine.

In addition to culinary techniques and ingredients that contribute to the green initiative of sustainable cookery, the Araku Valley Tribal cuisine is famous for its use of natural seasonings and minimal or no oil. Executive Chef Suraj Kumar Sahoo and his Sous Chef Sreenivas, both of whom are native to the region, have crafted an extensive menu using just the right proportions of oil, water, and fresh seasonings to bring out the authentic flavours of the signature dishes available in the valley.

The menu includes Bamboo Chicken, Bongu Rayalla Pulao, Kouju Pitta Roast, Chinta Chigiru Royallu, and Uppu Chapa curry, among others. The restaurant will also serve genuine Araku Coffee, which is organically cultivated without the use of machinery or chemicals, ensuring the sustainability of the cultivation.

If you're a food aficionado searching for an authentic culinary experience that showcases the rich heritage of Araku Valley's tribal cuisine, then "Araku Ruchulu" is the ideal opportunity for you. From September 15 to September 24, 2023, supper will be served at the Novotel Vijayawada Varun's Food Exchange every night.
