Novotel Vijayawada Varun is Fostering 'Green Hospitality' by Participating in Accor's Planet 21 Programs

Planet 21 is Accor's worldwide sustainable development initiative. Novotel Vijayawada Varun has been at the forefront of implementing green measures to the Indian hospitality sector. The hotel is proud of its simple practises that have a significant effect, such as substituting the automobile commute with a walk on the 21st of every month and encouraging its employees to plant trees on the property.

As a consequence of its endeavours, Novotel Vijayawada Varun is the first hotel in the city to have an EV charging station to encourage electric transportation. In addition to constructing an EV station, the hotel's other noteworthy efforts, like the usage of electric bikes/bicycles for local transportation, a vertical herb garden, and an in-house compost machine, are all geared at moulding the future of responsible travel.
