New Opening in Goa: Sublime Courtside at Assagao House

The venue is among the first experiences to launch ahead of the property's full unveiling in June 2026.

Overlooking professionally managed padel and pickleball courts, developed in collaboration with CoPlay, Sublime Courtside brings together active living and relaxed dining in a setting that feels perfectly in step with Assagao's easy, design-conscious character. Goa's appetite for racket sports has been growing steadily — luxury pickleball events in Goa have already been making waves, and Assagao House is set to further cement this trend.

Intimate yet open, the space has been designed to feel warm, calm, and effortlessly social. A young cashew tree anchors the café, while terracotta and moss-green tones, natural textures, and courtside views create an environment that feels both contemporary and grounded in Goa's slower rhythm. With seating for approximately 35 to 45 guests, it lends itself equally well to leisurely breakfasts, coffee catch-ups, post-game lunches, and easy afternoons that stretch into the evening. Assagao itself has long been home to some of Goa's most thoughtfully designed spaces — heritage-led hospitality projects in Assagao have shown just how beautifully this village absorbs contemporary design while retaining its soulful character.

The menu has been curated by Chef Christopher Saleem Agha Bee, whose ingredient-led culinary philosophy is informed by more than 30 years of international experience across Germany, the United States, and India. At Sublime Courtside, he presents a lighter, daytime-focused expression of the Sublime approach — centred on freshness, seasonality, and clean, wholesome flavours. It is this kind of chef-driven vision that continues to define India's most exciting new dining openings, much like what we've seen at bold new culinary eras led by visionary chefs across the country's top properties.

Guests can look forward to dishes such as Poached Eggs on Grilled Sourdough with Avocado and Cherry Tomato Jam, vibrant salads including the Beetroot and Strawberry Salad with Whipped Ricotta and the Curried Chicken Salad with Green Apple and Cranberry, alongside nourishing bowls and standout mains such as Aqua Chili of Sea Bass with Passionfruit-Jalapeño, Charred Avocado, and Corn Crunch. The menu also features grilled plates, fresh juices, and expertly brewed coffee. The offering feels polished yet approachable — ideal before a game, after one, or entirely independent of sport.
