Melissa Launches its Mumbai Flagship Outlet With its Distinctive Jelly Shoe Series

Melissa's Real Jelly experience is now accessible in one of the world's most recognisable retail locations, the Palladium mall in Mumbai.

With a blend of modernism and cosiness, Melissa's flagship shop creates an attractive and contemporary atmosphere for the local community. Pipa Arquitetura e Design of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is responsible for the store's architecture and design. The boutique exemplifies sustainability, fashion, art, and design as a representation of Melissa's DNA. The shop is bursting with bright colours and the scent of bubble gum from the jelly sneakers.

The business offers creative selections ranging from traditional to street-style footwear. Viktor & Rolf, Jason Wu, Vivienne Westwood, Isabella Capeto, and Y Project are among the internationally renowned design partnerships available for purchase.

In addition, you will discover the most enduring design, the Melissa Jelly Shoe, which has endured for centuries and is now a symbol of young culture and maturation. Melissa, a pioneer in the development of this category, commemorates its forty-year career with this collection by continuing to revolutionise the footwear market.

Regarding the Real Jelly series:

This collection pays respect to the brand's characteristic jelly style as a celebration of individuality and the daring to do something unusual.

The latest innovations include the Melissa Airbubble Platform, Flip Flops, and Bubble Flip Flops, which were inspired by digital and Y2K subcultures of the 2000s. This collection's basic and clean lines enable its primary material 'Melflex' to take centre stage. In addition to being suitable for the monsoons, these shoes are adorned with vivid transparent jelly accents.

Melissa has continued to advance technologically with a genuine dedication to sustainability throughout time. For the Real Jelly line, each shoe's insole has a QR code that links the user to a personalised Instagram filter. The Melissa team has composed an original music, unique to The Real Jelly campaign, which will be teased across many media.
