Italian yacht builder, Azimut steps into the virtual world with their first e-boat show

Azimut Yachts founded in 1969 by Paolo Vitelli is owned by Italy based, Azimut|Benetti Group and they are the world’s largest private player in the luxury yacht sector. They have their headquarters in Viareggio, Italy.

In this pandemic struck market Azimut Yachts came up with an innovative way to conduct their boat shows by launching a virtual lounge where a series of e-boat shows took place from May 27 to 30.

It replicated considerable portion of their conventional boat shows with the help of virtual reality experience. Azimut is the first yacht industry giant to conduct an online show.

By registering for the virtual event, the boating enthusiasts and yacht owners were provided with the opportunity to not only attend the exhibition but also to participate in live chat sessions with the sales managers of Azimut Yachts.

 The sales managers were also available for one-to-one video calls with clients on appointment basis. The local dealers could also join this video call to discuss specific needs of the client.

Even during the time of social distancing and enforced seclusion, the virtual lounge did not let the Yacht lovers to miss appreciating their passion. By means of a simple click they could access all the informative and aspirational materials such as virtual 360-degree tours, inspiring cum informative videos and other technical information.

By taking this effort to digitally connect the global yachting community, they have not only strengthened their bond with clients but also taken the first step towards a sustainable, greener, and safer environment for the future generation.
