French Producer of High Performance Vehicles Bugatti Celebrates Delivery of The Last Chiron Super Sport 300+

In commemoration of the model's record-setting top speed of 304.773 mph, French producer of high-performance vehicles Bugatti celebrated the delivery of the last Chiron Super Sport 300+1 produced.

This limited-edition run of 30 super sports cars has an exposed carbon fibre body with Jet Orange embellishments.

In 2019, the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+, piloted by Andy Wallace, broke the 300 mph barrier. In honour of Bugatti's 110th birthday, the company said it will produce 30 of the world's fastest production cars.

The Bugatti Chiron2 established very high standards for both power and aerodynamics, which the Chiron Super Sport 300+ had to surpass in order to attain its peak speed of 304.773 mph (490.484 km/h). The Chiron's power output of 1,500 PS has been surpassed by a whopping 100 PS thanks to a reworked version of Bugatti's famed 8.0-liter W16 engine. The software controlling the super sports car's engine, transmission, powertrain, and turbochargers was upgraded, and a new thermal management system was developed for the engine and transmission.

There is a 'longtail' on the quickest Chiron ever made that adds around 25 centimetres to its overall length. Because laminar flow is able to travel over the body for a longer duration, aerodynamic stall is reduced by about 40%. The super sports car's decorative air curtains at the front wheels direct the airflow away from the vehicle's sides when the pressure becomes too high. A little amount of negative lift is created via air outlets at the wheel arches and behind the front wheels, and this helps to reduce drag.

In order to save weight, the engine cover and even the windshield wipers on the Chiron Super Sport 300+ are made of exposed carbon fibre. The Bugatti 'Macaron' emblem, which is constructed of pure silver and black enamel, is one example of the subtle details that contribute to the car's air of luxury and uniqueness. Magnesium alloy wheels with a custom polish dubbed "Nocturne" are very light and robust.
