Maranello, Italy, October 2025: Ferrari NV has lifted the curtain on its much-awaited Elettrica, the brand's first all-electric supercar, offering an early glimpse into its electrified future. The model, set for delivery in late 2026, carries Ferrari's signature performance DNA adapted for a new electric era.
Elettrica: Power Meets Precision
True to Ferrari's legacy of performance, the Elettrica is designed to be a masterpiece of engineering. Equipped with four motors, one on each wheel, it delivers over 1,000 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 310 km/h. With its low-slung profile and aerodynamic design, the Elettrica promises to combine speed, silence, and emotion in perfect harmony.
A Strategic Shift in Ferrari's Electrification Roadmap
Ferrari's unveiling comes amid a recalibration of its electric vehicle strategy. The company, like several other luxury carmakers in the premium segment, has moderated its EV ambitions after seeing muted consumer interest in ultra-premium electric models. The brand now expects electric vehicles to account for about 20% of its lineup by 2030, down from the 40% target announced in 2022.
This adjustment makes room for Ferrari's combustion-engine models, which will now represent 40% of its range, while hybrids will make up the remaining 40%. The change reflects Ferrari's commitment to balancing cutting-edge innovation with the timeless performance that defines its identity.
Financial Outlook: Driving Toward Stronger Margins
During its capital markets day, Ferrari raised both its near-term and long-term financial projections. For 2025, the company now anticipates net revenue of at least €7.1 billion ($8.24 billion), up from its earlier goal of €7 billion. Adjusted Ebitda is forecast at €2.72 billion or more, underscoring Ferrari's robust profitability even as it diversifies its powertrain portfolio.
Looking ahead to 2030, Ferrari expects revenues to reach €9 billion, with Ebitda of €3.6 billion or higher, representing a rise of nearly one-third from mid-decade levels.
Balancing Tradition and Transformation
Ferrari's approach to electrification shows a careful balance between innovation and heritage. With the Elettrica, the Prancing Horse isn't just entering the EV arena; it is redefining what an electric supercar can be: thrilling, emotional, and unmistakably Ferrari. As luxury automotive brands continue to evolve, Ferrari demonstrates that true luxury lies in the perfect fusion of tradition and cutting-edge technology.
