About Chef Gary Mehigan:

Gary Mehigan, a native of the United Kingdom, began his career as a chef in two Michelin-starred restaurants. Moving to Australia in 1991, he worked in prestigious institutions before launching his own enterprise at age 31. MasterChef Australia transformed Gary, Matt, and George, entrancing audiences for eleven years and twelve seasons.

The programme influenced a new generation of youthful chefs and made cuisine and cookery an everyday pleasure. Gary is grateful for his career, which allows him to travel, pursue his interests, and encounter extraordinary people. Despite facing the difficulties of failure, he has achieved remarkable success and places a premium on honesty, enthusiasm, passion, compassion, and teaching above all else.
