Bugatti Starts Delivering The First Chiron Super Sport Hyper Sports Cars; Limited To Only 9 Exclusive Units

Bugatti, the French hypercar manufacturer, has started shipping Chiron Super Hyper Sport units from its Molsheim Atelier to clients worldwide 12 months after its first unveiling. Only nine models of the limited edition have been commissioned, and the Super Sport is one of the manufacturer's quickest vehicles.

Molsheim based Bugatti disclosed that one of the first Chiron Super Sports delivered got unique modification from the company's Sur Mesure customising programme. The customised unit, which has unique 'Vagues de Lumière' painting, is the product of tight cooperation between the new owner and Bugatti's Sur Mesure team.

One of the first Chiron Super Sports to be delivered has been customised under Bugatti's Sur Mesure programme. It is finished in special 'Vagues de Lumière' paints — an elaborate hand-painted pattern inspired by the way light reflects off the curved surfaces of the Chiron Super Sport.

The hypercar is propelled by a completely rebuilt version of Bugatti's legendary 8.0-liter W16 engine.

Bugatti's engineers designed and installed bigger quad-turbochargers, as well as a more powerful oil pump, cylinder head, and valve train. The gearbox and clutch of the super sports vehicle were also modified to the augmented powerplant. The Chiron Super Sport accelerates from 0 to 200 kilometres per hour in 5.8 seconds and from 200 kilometres per hour to 300 kilometres per hour in 12.1 seconds. The hypercar travels from zero to 400 kilometres per hour (km/h) seven percent faster than a Chiron.

Bugatti designed a new chassis particularly for the Chiron Super Sport's high speeds and aerodynamic enhancements. At 440 km/h, its steering and stiffer springs assure total stability. A balanced balance is maintained with the assistance of the automobile's enlarged rear and modified front end.

All Chiron Super Sport construction spaces are currently booked, with a lengthy waiting list in case any become available.
