Bharat Raheja Joins Atmosphere Core

Atmosphere Core, a progressive hospitality company that operates eight resorts in the Maldives, has appointed Bharat Raheja Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing for South Asia.

The company is expanding its footprints through the opening of carefully selected hotels and resorts under three brands: THE OZEN COLLECTION, Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, and COLOURS OF OBLU.

Stephane Laguette, chief commercial officer at Atmosphere Core, remarked,

Bharat Raheja is tasked with expanding the company's presence in India, Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka through the development of new markets. Bharat, who will be based in India, will also contribute to commercial strategies and construct sales and marketing teams that are driven by performance.

Bharat Raheja has more than 25 years of hospitality industry experience. Prior to joining Atmosphere Core, he held positions at Minor Hotels, Whitbread, and Hilton Worldwide. Bharat began his career in the hospitality industry with The Oberoi Group, followed by the Taj. 

Recruiting the finest personnel has been one of the company's main development strategies. Bharat Raheja joins the formidable leadership team comprised of Cyrus Madan, SVP of Business Development, and Souvagya Mohapatra, MD for India, Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka operations.
