Haeckels, a natural skincare and fragrance brand based in the United Kingdom, has announced that Estée Lauder Companies has acquired a minority investment in the business. The financial details of the transaction were not released, with both firms just claiming that the partnership will allow Haeckels to continue supporting sustainability, developing game-changing products, and advocating for more openness in the beauty industry.

The deal, according to Estée Lauder Companies, was made in accordance with the company's commitments to environmental and social responsibility. The company said it would leverage its extensive experience in identifying and nurturing high-potential brands such as Dr. Jart+ and The Ordinary to assist Haeckels in its development as the company expands on a global scale.

Established in 2012 by Dom Bridges in Margate, Kent, Haeckels combines a passion for natural foods with innovative design, high-quality workmanship, and a celebration of coastal regeneration and sustainability to create a unique culinary experience.

Haeckels is a brand that is inspired by its passion for the ocean, the skincare and fragrance company develops natural products from renewable resources such as seaweed while also implementing and supporting solutions to the oceanic crises that the world is now experiencing.
