The Outnet, Owned by Italian Luxury Group Yoox Net-a-Porter, Expands Into Menswear

Purely into womenswear erstwhile, online retailer of designer clothing the Outnet has moved into menswear too.

The Outnet, which is owned by the Italian luxury conglomerate Yoox Net-a-Porter (YNAP), formerly sold solely womenswear. However, after a successful soft launch period in November 2021, buyers in the EMEA and Asia Pacific areas may now explore and purchase menswear.

The offer will be extended to the United States this summer.

"Over the last decade, The Outnet has maintained a superb collection of premium past-season womenswear brands, and expanding our assortment to include menswear is an exciting natural step and chance to grow and strengthen our assortment,"

said managing director Emma Mortimer of the shop. According to her, the soft launch demonstrated a "high hunger" for a new menswear product.

Mortimer added thay they were ecstatic to launch the whole experience in 2022 and gauge consumer reaction as they continue to bring additional companies and customers to their unique offerings.
