In Germany, modest gold timepieces crafted with outstanding craftsmanship are a centuries-old heritage. After Glashütte's resurgence, the watchmakers and their exquisite timepieces were once again able to earn a global reputation. With the Patria, we continue Glashütte's horological legacy: the watch must be noble, elegant, and accurate.

Glashütte in the tiniest of details.

The dial's beautiful silver plating first conceals the superb movement inside the Patria. It shows the hours, minutes, and seconds, the latter inside an extremely big, scaled circle that is off-center. However, the connoisseur feels that incredible technology is concealed under the flawless, hand-finished hands.

Aficionados hailed the virtuosity of Glashütte's watchmakers more than a century ago. These traditions have been restored at the Patria to establish new benchmarks in the premium pricing class.

Tradition dictates that the bearing bores for the gear train bearings be positioned under a wide base plate that encompasses almost the whole diameter of the movement. The region around the balance, balance cock, and escapement has been meticulously polished, as has the surface of the watch. The screw-mounted gold chatons that have been put into the three-quarter plate and the iridescent sunburst pattern on the crown and ratchet wheels are further features.

Through the sapphire transparent case back, the two steel winding wheels and the distinctive click with its elegant steel spring are clearly visible. All screw heads have been polished in accordance with business tradition.

The skeletonized and exquisitely polished balancing cock reveals Tutima's oscillation technology. The balance wheel with weighted regulating screws oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph and features a Breguet hairspring with a distinctive terminal curve – a hand-finished piece that does credit to even the venerable Glashütte heritage.

The hand-wound, highly polished Caliber 617 is meticulously crafted in Tutima's factory, entirely in accordance with Glashütte's magnificent watchmaking tradition.
