Saint Laurent Most Likely To Conduct A Fashion Show in Venice in July 2021

Runway shows are back, bold, and beautiful. Saint Laurent has announced they will be holding a fashion show in Venice in July. The show will feature an installation by artist Doug Aitken commissioned by Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello.

Saint Laurent has declined to comment further on the show. The event marks Saint Laurent’s first physical show since their fall/winter 2020 women’s ready-to-wear show in February of 2020. Little did the world know at the time, COVID-19 would soon leave us trapped at home.

Last year, Saint Laurent, which is owned by Kering, the parent company of Gucci, Balenciaga, and Alexander McQueen, announced that they would be showing off calendar and setting their own pace for showing their collections. As the kids are saying nowadays, the return to runway shows is a sign “nature is healing.”
