PUMA X KOCHE - Celebrating Women & Fitness

PUMA X KOCHÉ

PUMA and Christelle Kocher's Parisian label KOCHÉ have just unveiled a collection that honours women and resides at the confluence of fashion and fitness.

It has a distinct ancestry based on classic French know-how and craftsmanship. KOCHÉ's uniquely contemporary approach to fashion encourages gender, body type, societal, and geographical diversity.

Christelle Kocher employs her expertise in haute couture to collaborate with PUMA on an activewear-focused collection.

"I am both a fashion designer and a physically active lady. I began participating in team sports at the age of eight and played handball pretty competitively until the age of eighteen. Since then, I seldom go a day without engaging in some type of physical activity. I run, box and practise yoga. Therefore, working with PUMA on this project provided me with a unique and difficult chance to combine my design knowledge with the technical features required for effective performance clothing."

The collection's design is influenced by classic features of feminine fashion. It focuses on body-sculpting shapes produced from recycled performance materials, such as polyester, polyamide, and organic cotton, and spanning 15 distinct styles. A neo-futuristic colour scheme incorporates color-shifting reflecting treatments with elegant black, burgundy, royal blue, and cream hues.

Elevated sports essentials gained enhanced construction and detailing; trousers and windbreaker jackets have crisscrossed lacing motifs. By carefully placing stitching, tops resemble corsets. A design inspired by lace is imprinted on the legs of the pants. The assortment of accessories consists of a roomy, draped gym bag, a running waist bag, and two pairs of distinct, classic-cut running shoes.

"With the PUMA family, we created these garments to aid in exercise performance and to be worn as a combination of upgraded essentials and ready-to-wear items. Ultimately, though, the collection aims to assist women in recovering their proper position in the sports world and to encourage them to remain active at a time when women are gaining prominence as industry leaders throughout the globe." — Christelle Kocher

The PUMA x KOCHÉ line is available globally through PUMA.com, KOCHE.com, PUMA stores, and select retailers.

This season, PUMA and the Paris-based label KOCHÉ are working together for the first time to celebrate women at the intersection of fashion and fitness with a collection that offers a new take on empowered activewear and blurs the lines between performance and lifestyle.
