Puma, The Sportswear Behemoth, Collaborates With Parisian Fashion House Ami to Launch a New Collection

In March 2022, sportswear giant Puma will debut an exclusive elevated sportswear line in collaboration with Parisian fashion company Ami.

The collection, which Puma describes as a fusion of tailoring and modern sporting design, includes footwear, clothing, and outerwear with little branding and a combination of neutral and vibrant colours and quality materials.

The inaugural Puma x Ami clothing collection is a combination of T-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, shorts, jackets, jeans, and bralettes in block and striped colorways. Accessories include a bucket hat, curve caps, shoulder bags, and a grip bag. The Suede Crepe and Slipstream Lo, both brand favourites, provide instant panache. The Suede is an unobtrusive green leather on beige suede construction with a wonderfully matched crepe sole, while the Lo is a peak summer appearance with white and beige-toned leathers.

The collection's footwear includes some of Puma's most iconic shapes, including the Slipstream Lo, Suede Crepe, and the newly introduced Suede Mayu.

Alexandre Mattiussi, Founder and Creative Director of AMI, was reported as saying:

"I'm really happy with the way we combined the logos; I believe the outcome is quite powerful, and that although this is a gift for us at AMI, it's also a present for PUMA."
