Kawasaki W175 Set to Launch in India in 2021

As per sources, the retro styled Kawasaki W175 is slated to arrive in India somewhere in the first 4 months of 2021.

The Kawasaki W175 is a single-cylinder motorcycle already every popular in Asian markets including Indonesia and Thailand. Most importantly, the W175 will be the most affordable Kawasaki in India and will appeal to a many aspiring luxury bike buyers. The expected price for Kawasaki W175 in India is somewhere in the range of INR 1.4 Lakhs.

Apparently almost 90% of the bike would be sourced locally including even some of the engine components. The W175 would be the second bike by Kawasaki planned to be engineered within the company’s Research & Development set up in India. The previous and the only other example being the localized Kawasaki Ninja 300 that was launched in India two years ago.
