In a Breitling First, The Super Chronomat Automatic 38 Origins Debuts With Responsibly Sourced Gold & Diamonds

Breitling has expanded their Chronomat lineup to include the Automatic GMT 40 and Super Chronomat Automatic 38.

Breitling's tribute to adventurers is the Chronomat Automatic GMT 40. Greenwich Mean Time was the first universally accepted time zone. A stainless steel case and band are paired with a variety of dial colours, including black, blue, green, anthracite, and white. There is no need to draw attention to the red GMT hand by having it contrast with the black 24-hour scale on the face of the watch.

The Breitling Caliber 32 movements power the timepieces. The 24-hour scale makes it easy to keep tabs on a second time zone and see at a glance if it is day or night there. To facilitate holding, it has a "onion" shaped crown. These adaptive sports watches are very resistant to water, with a depth rating of 200 metres.

The purpose of the Super Chronomat Automatic 38 is to be noticed. The ceramic rider tabs and crown set it apart from the rest of the Chronomat line, as did the rubber rouleaux bracelet that was developed just for this model. Large lab-grown diamonds are placed in 18K red gold or stainless steel in the bezel of the Automatic 38.
