IMC Ladies' Wing's Women Entrepreneurs' Exhibition 2025 - Celebrating Women, Creativity & Commerce

Mumbai's Premier Women-Led Showcase Returns in Grand Style

Mumbai, 11 August 2025 – The 38th edition of the Women Entrepreneurs' Exhibition, organised by the Ladies' Wing of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, lit up Mumbai with a spectacular celebration of women-led enterprise. More than an exhibition, this was a powerful statement on creativity, commerce, and purpose, showcasing the best of India's women entrepreneurs. This prestigious event builds upon the legacy of previous successful editions, including the 37th Women Entrepreneurs' Exhibition graced by Raveena Tandon and Kokilaben Ambani.

A Festival of Talent & Tradition

With 286 visionary entrepreneurs from 31 cities, many making their debut without a retail presence, the platform offered a rare opportunity to discover brands that blend originality with authenticity. This celebration aligns with the growing trend of evolving Indian luxury buyers exploring key trends. Guests explored:

  • Gourmet food crafted with passion
  • High fashion collections from emerging designers
  • Lifestyle and artisanal creations
  • Sustainable innovations shaping conscious consumerism

The exhibition honoured India's living heritage, featuring master artisans, traditional weavers, and handcrafted treasures from NGOs in Siliguri, Ganeshpuri (Palghar), Sujangarh, and Shekhawati, each preserving cultural legacy with integrity and pride. This dedication to traditional craftsmanship reflects the broader movement of celebrating Indian fashion and heritage.

The inaugural ceremony on 10th August was graced by Bollywood actor Manushi Chhillar, alongside Rajyalakshmi Rao (President – IMC Ladies' Wing), Kalpana Shah (Chairperson – Exhibition Committee), Juveca Panda Chheda (Co-Chairperson), exhibition committee members, and special guests Zarine Khan and Madhoo Shah.

In her address, Manushi Chhillar remarked:

"This is not just an exhibition, it's a celebration of women who dare to dream and work relentlessly to make those dreams come true. Women entrepreneurs build with empathy, purpose, and heart, setting an example for young girls to believe in the possibilities of their dreams."

Rajyalakshmi Rao reflected on her presidential theme Evolve to Excel, calling it "a rallying cry for every woman to embrace change, meet challenges head-on, and move forward with courage." This theme resonates with the ongoing narrative of celebrating women entrepreneurs who dare to look beyond.

An Artistic Theme – Raja Ravi Varma

Chairperson Kalpana Shah introduced this year's theme honouring Raja Ravi Varma, the legendary artist whose portrayal of women as graceful and empowered resonates even today. The ceremony featured the national anthem, the lighting of the lamp, and a touching letter from Smt. Kokilaben Ambani, read by Juveca Panda Chheda, conveying warm wishes to all participants.

A Gathering of Icons

The event drew an impressive roster of personalities, including Rashmi Thackeray, Sunita Kapoor, Poonam Sinha, Poonam Dhillon, and others, adding prestige and glamour to the celebration. This gathering reflects the continued support for women entrepreneurship, following the tradition of previous exhibitions like Kareena Kapoor Khan's inauguration of the 36th exhibition.

With applications for the 2026 edition already pouring in, the Women Entrepreneurs' Exhibition continues to stand as a movement — inspiring, empowering, and elevating women-led businesses across India. The exhibition perfectly embodies the influence of female fashion designers and supports luxury brands emerging in India's digital marketplace. For aspiring entrepreneurs inspired by this event, explore opportunities in elite careers in the luxury industry and understand the secret to success in India's fashion industry.
