ICIA and AstaGuru Present 'Himmat Shah - Innocence & Creativity' - A Landmark Exhibition Showcasing the Master Sculptor's Iconic Bronze Works and Spir

The Institute of Contemporary Indian Art (ICIA), in collaboration with AstaGuru Auction House and Namtech Fine Art, is proud to present Himmat Shah - Innocence & Creativity, an extraordinary exhibition showcasing the artistic evolution of Himmat Shah. This exclusive collection highlights Shah’s iconic works, featuring striking bronze sculptures meticulously cast at London’s renowned Bronze Age Foundry, where he has honed his craft for over two decades.

A Unique Artistic Legacy

The exhibition brings together Shah’s seminal pieces, including the Man From Moon and Tirthankar series, which transcend traditional forms to embody ancestral memory and spiritual guardianship. Known for pushing boundaries, Shah’s works extend to large stone sculptures and rare miniature casts in solid gold, illustrating his versatile mastery.

The Artist’s Vision and Craftsmanship

Reflecting on his journey, Himmat Shah shared that his collaboration with AstaGuru allowed him to realize the intricate quality and scale he envisioned for his sculptures. He emphasized how the London foundry’s precision enabled him to bring new life to each piece, with favorites like Tirthankar celebrating diverse identities through each sculpted head.
