Gauri Khan Hosts an Elegant Gala with Maison&Objet and Mathieu Lustrerie at Gauri Khan Designs

On December 11, 2023, Gauri Khan partnered with the prestigious bi-annual home fashion and décor show, Maison&Objet, and Mathieu Lustrerie to host a grand gala dinner at Gauri Khan Designs in Mumbai. During the event, Maison&Objet announced their new Brand Ambassador for the January 2024 edition, architect Aparna Kaushik.

Known for her expertise in both classical and modern architecture, Aparna's appointment reflects her ability to create landmark buildings and residences with timeless elegance.

Gauri Khan, a distinguished figure in the design world, showcased her deep ties with France and Maison Objet through this collaboration. The event highlighted her unique vision and commitment to design, creativity, innovation, and high fashion.

The dinner ambiance at Gauri Khan Designs was inspired by the grandeur and legend of the Chateau of Versailles. Adding to the royal atmosphere, the event featured authentic chandeliers from designer Regis Mathieu of Mathieu Lustrerie, renowned for crafting timeless chandeliers for palaces and the official chandelier maker for the Chateau de Versailles.

Gauri Khan shared her delight in partnering with Maison Objet, praising the event as a significant source of inspiration and trends in the design world.

Raj Anand, who has been curating Maison Objet in India for 15 years, expressed excitement about welcoming a growing number of Indian product designers to the show.

The event, curated by Raj Anand and Alexis de Ducla, saw attendance from notable personalities, including Jean-Marc Séré-Charlet, Consul General of France in Mumbai, and various celebrities.

The gala was sponsored by several prestigious names, including Maison & Objet, Mathieu Lusterie, Stonex, Wriver, and Vastrakala-Lesage Interieurs, showcasing a harmonious fusion of design excellence, creativity, and international collaboration.
