DISQUIET by Ujjawal Dubey's Antar-Agni Resonates Brilliantly at Lakme Fashion Week

Ujjawal Dubey's 'Antar-Agni' label for men's and women's clothing consistently causes a stir in the fashion world and hits all the right notes in terms of design.

As part of Lakme Fashion Week, the label showcased the 'Disquiet' look in association with FDCI. This collection was characterised by a fluid, sophisticated sense of movement. Most notably, cotton silks, cotton, Bemberg, and hand-woven cotton were used to create the garments that had the ideal movement and feel.

There was no change in the colours along the serene path; instead, white, ivory, muck green, mint, and finally black were the only ones to appear. Shapes were dynamically generated using the label's signature pleats and drapes, which boosted design goals. The collection's upbeat mood, which had a gender-fluid component that would appeal to all sexes, was aided by the organic surface decoration.

The surface texture of the traditionally masculine kurtas, shirts, and gender-fluid robes, which also looked great on the female models, was further enhanced by micro detailing. An innovative addition that drew attention to women's attire was the cropped blouse with butterfly sleeves. The collection has an almost year-round appeal because to the asymmetry in the forms and hemlines.

Ceramic jewellery by designer Siraj Saxena was a great choice to elevate the collection's already high fashion level.

Ujjawal Dubey's 'Disquiet' collection for Antar-Agni included an impressive fashion story that took the pieces' originality to a new level.
