The summer collection by Anita Dongre is here, and it's haute couture at its finest. Anita Dongre's summer collection heralds in the season of effortless elegance with its timeless silhouettes and intricate craftsmanship on weightless fabric.

This is a collection of contemporary silhouettes designed for the modern global woman in Dubai one day, New York the next, and India in her dreams.

This is a collection that celebrates craftsmanship, as the completely embroidered costumes require over 1800 hours to create. The collection deliberately employs lightweight summer fabrics, such as georgette, chiffon, tulle, chanderi mul, silk organza, cotton linen, and cupro organza, in calming neutrals, pastels, and the occasional lime. The dresses, kaftans, gowns, skirt sets, pant sets and jacket sets are adorned with appliqué, aari threadwork, sequins, cord embroidery and vibrant summer designs.
