Archana Jaju's most recent collection, Adavi, is comprised of hand-spun chanderi, Chanderi organza, and Chanderi silks woven in light weights. Archana Jaju's fall/winter '23 collection revisits the traditional art of kalamkari using 23 stages to hand-drawn motifs inspired by the enchantment of India's forests and the language of natural colours and vegetable dyes against a pastel colour palette. Each piece in the collection is created by softening the fabric, hand-drawing the stories, and soaking the fabric in the sun's purifying energy. This handiwork renders each piece in the collection unrepeatable and thus one-of-a-kind.
